Weight Loss Workout Routine
A weight workout routine doesn't have to be exotic; it just has to tone you and burn calories. One
of the best workouts can be participating in a sport you thoroughly enjoy such as tennis or even dancing, which is
good for your cardiovascular system, flexibility and muscle tone. It won't make you a weight lifter but it will
increase your stamina and help burn fat.
One way to set up a program, even for those almost to busy to exercise, is to alternate your exercise daily. One day you'll participate in cardio exercises
and the next day you do weight training. Each day however, you need to make certain you do stretches and
flexibility training. In most cases, you can also work your exercise in mini sessions if you don't have a half hour
at one time.
First, you can create a program that will take off weight
rapidly, make you sweat and feel like you're about to die and simply make your life miserable. Some people
think that punishing themselves this way is restitution for gaining weight. In reality, you need a program you'll
follow and continue without incurring so much pain you cringe at the word exercise from that point onward.
In the morning every day, do a few minutes of stretches. These don't have to be difficult. Simply
stand with your feet together, raise your arms straight up so the inside of the elbow covers the ear and stretch
toward the ceiling. Relax your body and stretch again. Instead of dropping your arms, bend at the waist and attempt
to touch your toes. You don't have to be successful in touching them and above all, don't jerk downward to do it.
Make your motions smooth movements. The idea is to stretch muscles to prevent damage, not damage them with
stretches.
You can add any number of stretches to this or use yoga movements to get your muscles limber. While
these flexibility exercises won't necessarily help you lose weight, they'll warm up your muscles so you don't
injure yourself and if you're particularly sedentary, they'll increase the amount of calories you burn.
You don't have to do your cardio or weight training in the morning but it does help your body burn
more calories by starting the day with rejuvenating exercise. Vary the type of weight training you do as well as
the cardio. If you have a day off and it's cardio day, put on some music when you go about your chores. Add a
little hip action when you vacuum or put some samba in your cooking. The more you move, the healthier you become
and the more weight you'll lose.
If you want to burn more calories, add weights to your ankles and wrists as you exercise. It makes
the exercise more difficult but it does also burn more fat when you do them. There's no perfect formula for the
best exercises to lose weight. It's all about consistency and burning more calories than you consume. Find ways to
do this and add exercise you'll continue to do daily and you'll have the best weight loss workout routine.
