Finding a diet plan that works is Priceless |
Finding the diet plan that works best for you can be a challenge. If you’re like
me, you’ve already tried them all and you’re still overweight. I was beginning to believe I was really doomed to be
fat for the rest of my life!
We’re not alone. Millions of people are struggling with extra pounds and can’t lose weight. It’s not our bodies or
our minds holding us back from the body of our dreams; it is the diets we are trying.
Most diet plans don’t work. How many of these have you tried and failed?
Low carb diets: Diets like the Atkins Diet are complicated with hard to follow guidelines and food
restrictions that make it difficult to dine away from home. Staying on a low carb diet often results in low energy
levels and lack of concentration so even if you lose weight, it is really not a diet plan that works for overall
wellbeing.
Low calorie diets: Although it would make sense to assume that you would lose weight by eating
fewer calories, it isn’t completely true. You will typically lose a small amount of weight in the first few days of
the diet but then your body will detect the change and your metabolism will account for fewer
calories.
Low fat diets: Until recently, these diets were thought to be effective. In depth studies on fat
levels in the diets of various individuals have made it obvious that decreasing your fat intake can be more harmful
than beneficial. Those who consumed less fat were actually more likely to suffer from obesity and had a higher risk
of heart disease.

essential things like carbohydrates and good fats. You don’t have to suffer to lose weight. You can go to your
